You are cordially invited to the commemoration ceremony Years of whispers: Šalovci, 1941-1945 – the fate of the Jewish Schönauer family for the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holocaust.

On Friday, 17th of February 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Šalovci Cultural Hall.

At the ceremony, the author of the monograph on the photographer Juli Schönauer, Mark Krenn, and the director of Synagogue Maribor, Boris Hajdinjak, will speak about the Schönauer Jewish family.
The cultural program will feature the violinist Ekaterina Lepoša, the Mavrica DU Šalovci singing group and the students of Šalovci Elementary School.
