The Maribor Synagogue joins the all-Slovenian project “The Merry Day of Culture”. This project is traditionally organized on 3 December – the birthday of one of the greatest Slovenian poets France Prešeren.

On Monday, 3 December 2018, we prepared for you:

– from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open doors day (Free visit to the Old Jewish Sinagogue in Maribor and the current exhibition “From the desert to the table”);

– at 10.30 a.m. Guided tour of the Biblical archeological collection of the Theological library of Maribor “From the desert to the table” (guided by its author Samo Skralovnik, PhD);

– at 11 a.m. Presentation of the From the desert to the table exhibition catalogue (presentet by its editors Samo Skralovnik, PhD and Marjetka Bedrač);

– at 14 a.m. Guided tour of the Biblical archeological collection of the Theological library of Maribor “From the desert to the table” (guided by its author Samo Skralovnik, PhD).

Entry to the Synagogue Maribor will be free of charge on this day.
