This Merry Day of Culture represents traditional cultural manifestation, with which the birthday of one of the greatest Slovenian poets – France Prešeren – is celebrated. On 3 December each year, many cultural institutions in Slovenia open their doors and invite the visitors to attend different cultural events, e. g. performances, exhibitions, concerts, lectures, guided tours, workshops etc. free of charge.

The Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor cordially invites all visitors to the open doors day, which will take place on 3 December from 5.30 p. m. until 8 p. m. Within this, visitors are invited to visit the former medieval synagogue and the exhibition Jewish languages.

At 6 and 7 p. m. guided tours of the exhibition will be organized as well.
