From 26 September to 10 October, Slovenian cultural, museum, and gallery institutions will celebrate the European Heritage Days. As part of these projects, which take place under the auspices of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, visitors will be able to participate in numerous events and activities throughout Slovenia. A program booklet is available for more details on the European Heritage Days program.

At the Synagogue Maribor, we kindly invite you to open days during European Heritage Days. The photographic exhibitions “Terra Sancta 1910: the largest Slovenian pilgrimage to the Holy Land” (photographs by Peter Naglič) and “Jewish Cemetery in Rožna Dolina” (photographs by Andrej Perko) are on display here; both can be viewed for free until October 10th.

We invite you to our company from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 16:00, and until October 10 we will also be open on weekends – on Saturdays, 26. 9, 3. 10. and 10. 10., and on Sundays, 27. 9. and 4. 10., from 10:00 to 12:00.
