Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor and Starše Elementary School cordially invite you to a ceremonial event marking the start of the Crocus Project 2022/23 in Slovenia.
The event will be held on Wednesday, 26th of October 2022, at 11 a.m., in the gymnasium of the Starše Elementary School.
The celebratory speakers will be the mayor of the Municipality of Starše, Stanislav Greifoner, the initiator of the implementation of the Crocus Project in Slovenia, the ambassador mag. Blanka Jamnišek from the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Principal Franc Kekec of the Starše Elementary School.
The pupils of the school, under the mentorship of Leonida Babič and Tanja Šimek, will take care of a beautiful and meaningful cultural programme and coordination of the event.
The honorary patron of the event is the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor.
